I meantioned Aftermath in a list on this blog. Aftermath is by far one of the most gory movies to come out in a long time. The movie is pretty simple : A Mortician performs parts of an autopsy on a corpse, then he continues to fuck it. It is shot well, but I can't help but feel like this is just gore for exploitation sake. Goresploitation man LOL

So this movie is a kind of movie that any gore fiend needs. I'm going to put together a list of some essential gore movies.

Deadbeat at Dawn is a horror / action fan's wet dream. This film is awesomeness in every sense of the word. It follows a man named Goose and his exploits in the dirty city. Goose is equipped with excellent karate, and whatever weapons he manages to muster up. All the characters are well written and hilarious. This is the kind of film you need to see if you think you've seen it all.

This film gets my highest recommendation. 10/10

It's beyond words, it's sheer beauty. Dark Sky has done an excellent job with their release, which I wholeheartedly recommend.
